Bohol is the 10th largest island in the Philippine archipelago and is part of the Visayan region which lies in the central part of the country. It is about 630 air kms. southeast of Manila, the nation’s capital and principal gateway into the country from most countries.
From Manila to Bohol hotels and resorts
There are three international airport terminals in Manila and it would be advisable to check which terminal you will be arriving in, and where you will be connecting for your flight to Tagbilaran city. The distance between the three terminals is only a few kilometers but depending on the time of day, the transfer could take up to an hour. There are at least 10 flights daily to Tagbilaran and it’s a short plane ride and then a 90 minute scenic road trip to amun ini.
From other cities to Bohol hotels and resorts
Another popular entry point to the Philippines is Cebu city which is separated from Tagbilaran by a narrow 40 km. wide strait. From the Cebu city international airport to the sea port handling ferry services to Tagbilaran is a 45 minute ride.
